The Commercial Mortgage Dilemma:  Banking's Next Credit Challenge is a new study about the potential for a commercial mortgage crisis in 2010.

    This study analyzes the likely duration and severity of a nascent commercial mortgage credit crisis and its impact on the banking industry.  The study includes SMR risk scores for each of the nation's 477 largest banks, and an 18-year history of commercial mortgage credit statistics.  Also included:  analysis of recent commercial property foreclosure rates by type of property, by state, and by metro area.  The study is 130 pages, available in print and electronic versions.
