Foreclosure Forecast, 2008 is a special research study that forecasts completed foreclosures in 2008 for the nation, major metro areas, and for each of 154 major lenders.  The forecasts are based on the new SMR Foreclosure Forecast System (FFS), a multiple regression model based on all key predictors of likely foreclosures.  The study, more than 275 pages, also includes SMR's latest analysis of foreclosure trends, including new data on bad loans at depository institutions, changes in the relationship between incomes and home prices, and more.  Published in December, 2007.
