Piggyback Mortgage Lending, our special study on two-loan deals, is now available for purchase.  This controversial loan is comprised of both a senior lien and a junior lien loan, typically with very high combined loan-to-value (CLTV) ratios.  From a sampling of 21.5 million transactions sourced from lien filings at county courthouses, we calculated piggybacks done from  2001 through mid-year 2004.  The study contains lender production, popularity by state and county, and combined LTV ratios of piggybacks.  Published in November, 2004.
